Updates Regarding SOE Lessons During COVID-19

As you well know, in addition to the MOH’s recent announcement that all tuition and enrichment classes would be suspended with effect from 25th March 2020 to 30th April 2020, our Prime Minister had since instilled enhanced safe-distancing measures known as a “Circuit Breaker”, where even mainstream schools are to shift to full Home-based Learning (HBL). With the concurrent COVID-19 pandemic and continuing escalation in infected cases in most countries worldwide, including our own, this may very well imply that the already extended Circuit-Breaker will go beyond its stipulated end date of 1st June 2020.

The truth of the matter is that there will be a substantial learning curve for every academic entity, including the mainstream schools to digitalise their course material as well as to deliver their classes in a clear and concise manner. It has now become even more important for tuition centres to support the mainstream schools to educate students and reward them with a greater competitive edge, especially those expected to take the national examinations this year.

At the beginning of the year, School of Einsteins (SOE) had already obtained the necessary computing equipment (smartboards, laptops, green screens, etc) in anticipation in anticipation of this uncertain COVID-19 outbreak. Correspondingly, we had rigourously tested our systems and diligently trained our staff in relevant areas so that we will be able to conduct our classes online.

We are pleased to inform you that SOE will be securely conducting all our sessions via Zoom with security measures to prevent “Zoom-Bombing”. SOE will also be constantly monitoring and adjusting our resources so that our students can more easily absorb and retain information from our online lessons.
